Office of Industry and Innovation

Here's a quick guide to the application process.

1. Discuss the potential and eligibility of the project with an Office of Industry and Innovation project manager. Applications can be submitted at any time.
   
   
2. Complete the application form and send a draft to the Office of Industry and Innovation. Our staff may have more questions for you to answer.
   
   
3. When completed, the application will be reviewed by us.
   
   
4. We will advise you if the application is successful and provide feedback if unsuccessful. Applications are assessed against formal criteria.
   
   
5. At the successful completion of stage 1, we will assess the project outcomes and assist you with completing an application for stage 2, if this is appropriate.
   
   
6. Approval of funding for stage 2 is undertaken by an external Pathfinder panel and you may be required to do a brief presentation of your project and answer some questions.
   
   
7. We will advise you if your application for stage 2 is successful and will also provide feedback if unsuccessful.

Note: if stage 1 and stage 2 are applied for at the same time, the application will be evaluated and approved by the external Pathfinder panel.
