Office of Industry and Innovation

The total funding for each project is between $5,000 and $60,000 across both stages.

Eligible projects must:

• be completed within 12 months;
• be managed by an Office of Industry and Innovation project manager, with appropriate records kept for the auditing of the use of funds;
• clearly lead to the generation of new intellectual property (IP) or the enhancement of existing IP;
• demonstrate initial research has been undertaken prior to the application;
• be outcome orientated, with clear, specific deliverables; and
  
• have a clear commercialisation strategy.

Pathfinder funds are to be repaid, without interest, within two years of the project being successfully commercialised. There is no obligation to repay the amount if commercial revenues are not received.
