Commercialisation Seminar - 8 July 2008

Pathfinder

What is the Pathfinder Fund?

"It is an early-stage fund to help progress UWA IP along the commercialisation pathway. OII acts as the manager of this fund on behalf of UWA".

The aims of the UWA Pathfinder fund are as follows:

  • To fund 'early stage' projects or concepts that have clear commercial potential into 'investor-ready' or 'pre-seed fund ready' opportunities.

  • To leverage funds from other sources.

  • To create a self-sustaining fund by returning incomes from successful Pathfinder projects back into the fund.
